"Phantasy Star™ Ø takes place on an alternate Earth 200 years after the “Great Blank,” a massive war that has reduced the once-prosperous civilization to almost nothing. The sole surviving Humans have worked hard to exist peacefully and have built thriving Cities. The Humans that adventure past the outskirts of these Cities, called Hunters, explore the vast wilderness and hunt dangerous monsters to keep Cities safe.

Players will take up the role of Hunters and select from three types of races and different classes, as well as gender for a total of 14 customizable character types. Each character type will play very differently and give players access to a great range of items, armor and weapons. Featuring over 350 unique weapons, gamers will venture out on “Earth”, combat dangerous monsters to gain experience and meet new major characters.

Pertama kali hadir di SEGA MASTER SYSTEM dengan gamenya Phantasy Star 1 yang berisi kisah yang sangat sederhana, sama sederhana dengan game Final Fantasy 1 dan Dragon Quest. PS yang merupakan buatan SEGA ini nanti kedepannya akan berkembang hingga menjadi seperti sekarang (PSU)

Tentu sangat dibatasi dan kemungkinan menemukan karakter mirip dengan kita sangat mungkin.. Yap alasan ini tidak aneh mengingat PSU memiliki kemampuan online, namun online NDS disini tidak sebagus di JP (negeri Asal)

Seperti halnya game RPG, leveling juga wajib dan di PS0 ini km perlu melakukannya atau kesulitan saat melawan musuh yang berat. Tak hanya selain online bermain PS0,  offline juga dapat dilakukan oleh  kita dan enaknya kita akan lebih siap bila menghadapi area yang memiliki musuh yang sulit. keuntungan offline juga memiliki kekurangan. yang jelas kekurangan dalam sistem offline adalah pelit biaya.

PS0 juga memanfaatkan TouchScreen dengan benar,sehingga permainan PS0 di NDS sangat interaktif. Ttapi bukan berarti di console lain tidak bagus, namun perbedaan keduanya sangat jauh.

di awal permainan kita disuruh memilih 1 dari 3 ras (Human, Cast & Newman) lalu mengatur tampilannya. kemudian game akan memulai seperti yang km pilih sebelumnya (Race). Game ini kedepannya memiliki fitur yang banyak bahkan beberapa fitur yang ditawarkan belumlah dikeluarkan/di aktifkan dari pihak Sega.
Untuk di Indonesia, sepertinya itu sulit (memakai sistem DSWi) setelah mengetahui game di Indonesia kebanyakan berupa dari hasil bajakan bahkan termasuk game PS0 ini sendiri.
Nilai untuk game ini sangat bagus dimana-mana sehingga saya memberikan jempol juga kepada Team pembuat PS0 ini.

Phantasy Star 0 received 33 out of 40 from Famitsu magazine, which praised the game's controls, game play, and online mode, noting "it really feels like an online game in the palm of your hand." 

Game ini sendiri sudah dapat mendekati kata sempurna. Walau ada kekurangan di sana-sini sperti suaranya yang kurang digarab.

mengingat bahwa PS0 dapat digunakan untuk jaringan, membuatku teringat pada RAgnarok NDS yang memiliki kemampuan yang mirip yaitu dapat melakukan online. Walau begitu Online di Ragnarok kurang mencerminkan Online seperti di PC/windows. sesuai dengan gambaran Online yang dipikirkan oleh para pemain gae tsb.
